Top Tips

Grab a water taxi from Dalyan to Iztuzu Beach, make sure you visit the turtle hospital and see the loggerhead turtles on the beach (do not go between 8pm and 8am as the beach is closed to protect the turtles)

A trip to the mud baths is an essential part of an amazing trip to Dalyan, your skin will feel insane after and it really is a once in a lifetime experience

The local markets often sell Turkish lanterns, they are not too expensive either and are so gorgeous in your home

Good to know

The currency in Dalyan, Turkey is Turkish Lira

The best time to visit, in my opinion, is May to October because of the high temperatures

The Dalyan Cami is a mosque so make sure you conform to the clothing requirements

Pre-booking tours to the mud baths and Iztuzu Beach isn't essential but may be cheaper than getting the tickets there

Certain parts of Turkey are at risk of terrorism so check the government website before planning your trip

In my opinion, the best way to get to/from the airport is private transfer (depending on where you are staying of course)
